We were excited to welcome well-known meteorologist James Spann for a special visit today. Our students had the opportunity to learn more about weather, severe storms, and how meteorologists predict what is happening in the atmosphere.
He shared interesting information about forecasting and the importance of staying weather-aware. Our students also were able to hear him tell about his experiences covering severe weather and learning how technology helps meteorologists keep communities safe.
His visit was a great learning experience and gave our students a closer look at the science behind the weather they see every day!
